This page describes one method: reading a Matside Report article closely enough to decide for yourself whether a claim holds.

Compare claim, date and source

Take one sentence that states something checkable. Write it down exactly as printed. Note the review date on the article. Then open the source the article points to and find the passage it relies on. If sources disagree, note both.

Keep a precise discrepancy note

A useful note names the article, quotes the sentence, gives the date, cites the source, and states in one line what the source says instead. Small and specific beats long and vague.
